Sight: a sci-fi short film
The future of technology and user interface is augmented reality, if concepts like Google’s Project Glass are anything to go by. Images, directions and information all placed before your eyes, a bit like the Iron Man suit interface. Follow directions through in-ear speakers, take pictures by just blinking your eyes, all seem like extensions of the obvious next step.
Sight, a short film by ran May-raz and Daniel Lazo, takes this one step ahead by putting all this data in your eyeballs, and making everything appear like a game app, with leaderboards, unlockable badges and new levels. But when life is a game, there is always someone with a cheatcode.
