Put your friends six feet under
The man in the trench coat waits in the alley silently smoking his cigar as the black Cadillac rolls by. A tall dark figure emerges out as the car stops in front of the casino. The man in the alley checks his revolver. Loaded. No turning back now. As the valet drives the Cadillac away, the man in the alley rushes behind the car owner. “Hey Vasquez.” The tall man turns around. “Marconi says hello.” The revolver sparks. BLAM! BLAM!
Sounds like the plot for Scorcese’s next film? Actually it could be the story for the next big social game. Zynga, the granddaddy of social gaming and the maker of Farmville and Mafia Wars just took the lid off their newest and most badass game ever, Mafia Wars 2. This time around, the game will be set in Las Vegas where you build your crime empire up from a small joint on Casino Row to an international cartel. And it wont be easy.
Expect none of the goody-two-shoes niceness that you’ve become familiar with in Farmville. Trust no one here. Your foes and friends will be out to gut you up with an arsenal that includes baseball bats, knives, a host of guns, flamethrowers and even rocket launchers. Zynga promises the game to be as immersive as possible with 3D graphics, instead of old-school text-heavy gameplay.
