The New Totalitarian Regimes
Definition:
to·tal·i·tar·i·an
adj.
Of, relating to, being, or imposing a form of government in which the political authority exercises absolute and centralized control over all aspects of life, the individual is subordinated to the state, and opposing political and cultural expression is suppressed.
Sound familiar? Of course it does. This definition of totalitarianism fits the new kind of regimes taking over very aspect of our lives. Yes, I’m talking about social media…and since Facebook is just short of being declared a country, the term Totalitarian Regime is quite befitting.
So it wasn’t surprising when I actually found these propaganda posters for Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. Take a look, this is what the future looks like!
